Kader Khan was born on 11 December 1937 in Afghanistan.
His film career started with the film ‘Dag’, released in 1973.
In the 1970s and 1980s, he also worked on writing scripts for many movies. He completed his graduation from Ismail Yusuf College of Bombay University.
Prior to joining in the film, during 1970, Kadar Khan was working as Professor of Civil Engineering at M.H. Saboo Siddique College of Engineering.
Kader Khan used to live in Mumbai. His son Sarfaraz Khan has also worked in some films.
Kader Khan Career
Kader Khan initially used to work as a lecturer on engineering college in Mumbai.
During college’s annual festival, Kader Khan was acting in a theater. At that time Dilip Kumar was also present and he also witnessed the performance of Kader Khan and seeing his acting, Dilip Kumar was so impressed that he gave Kader Khan the opportunity to act in his next film.
Kader Khan has worked in more than 300 Hindi and Urdu films, and since 1970, he has been working on writing dialogues for more than 250 films.
Kader Khan had written dialogues for Roti Film (1974).
To write the dialogue of that film, Manmohan Desai had given him one lakh twenty one thousand rupees. He has worked in many superhit films with mostly Jitendra, Firoz Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda and David Dhawan. Along with this, he has also worked with great comedians like Shakti Kapoor and Joni Lever.
As a screenwriter, Kader Khan worked for many films for Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra.
Kader Khan has written dialogue for many of the Amitabh Bachchan’s films. Kader Khan has also worked as a screenwriter for films such as Mr. Natwarlal, Khoon Paseena, Do Aur Do Panch, Satte Pe Satta, Inqilab, Giraftar, etc.
The dialogues of superhit films such as Ajay Devgan’s film “Himmatwala”, Govinda’s film “Coolie No. 1”, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s film “Mai Khiladi Tu Anari”, Kanoon Apna Apna, Khoon Bhari Mang, karma, Sultanat, Aamir Khan’s film “Sarfarosh” have been written by Kader Khan himself. He also have written the dialogues of the film Justice Chaudhari and Dharamveer.

1993: Seeing the success and achievements of Kader Khan, the AFMI (American Federation of Muslim from India) also honored him.
2013: Kader Khan was awarded the Sahitya Shiromani Award for making significant contributions to the Hindi film industry.
